The Arapaso are part of a network of 17 tribes, some of which live in Colombia as well as Brazil. The Arapaso only live in Brazil.
These 17 tribes cooperate with each other. They fish together and farm, growing manioc. They speak a number of languages related to Tukano proper which has the largest number of speakers. The Arapaso speak this language.
Almost half of the Arapaso people are officially Christian, but they still hold onto many animistic beliefs.
The Arapaso need to put all their faith in Jesus.
Pray for a spiritual hunger that won’t be satisfied until they focus their lives on the one who is the way, the truth and the life.
Pray for Arapaso disciples to make more disciples who will make even more disciples.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to bless the Arapaso people and lead them to take Christ to other tribes.
Scripture Prayers for the Arapaso in Brazil.
